Role Overview

As a Sales Assistant at Elys Centra Old Bridge, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, driving in-store performance, and supporting operational excellence. Your background in retail operations and analytics will help you contribute beyond the shop-floor, adding value to stock management, merchandising, and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and ensure an outstanding shopping experience in line with the company`s brand values.

• Operate the checkout, handle payments, vouchers, loyalty schemes, and assist with queries.

• Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards?"shelves, promotional displays, refrigeration units, and tills?"ensuring cleanliness and order.

• Assist with stock replenishment, rotation (FIFO), and inventory control; monitor stock levels and report variances or shrinkage.

• Engage with new initiatives (e.g., loyalty programmes, plan-ograms, seasonal campaigns) and support continuous improvement in store operations.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily store targets, support sales growth, and maintain operational efficiency.

• Adhere to health & safety, hygiene, and security policies.

• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and possibly early morning shifts as required.
