Job description:

We have an opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to join our team.As Social Media Specialist you will beresponsible for creating and publishing content on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, to grow our audience and build brand awareness.You will develop an in-depth understanding of thetargeted audience for each social channel, creating persuasive content that strikes a chord with the intended audience, and unique to the typical interactions of each channel.

The main responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Develop,implementand managethe social media strategy
  • Executeand managemultiple social media campaigns across channels to grow awareness and build community through meaningful engagement
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Ensure that all content is targeted appropriately, and budget managed effectively to deliver the greatest cost efficiencies
  • Track performance and benchmarkand report on same
  • Suggest and implement new campaigns to develop brand awareness and improve social media performance
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Setup and optimisecompany pages within each platform to increase the visibility of thecompany€,,s social content
  • Monitorcustomer engagement andrespond to customersin a social way and use insights gleaned to further input into social strategy and activations
  • Support other projects / work as required in store

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Proven experience managing social media campaigns
  • Expert knowledge of social media channels and formats and Facebook Business Manager
  • Deep understanding and Passion for Social Media and Social trends and attentive to customer trends and interests on Social
  • Innovative and creative with a \"can do\" attitude. Imagines creative solutions that generate results and promotes team creativity
  • Excellent attention to detail and copywriting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple tasks and deliver high quality results
  • Ability to generate reports and extract meaningful learnings from same
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to identify trends and customers` needs and translate into engaging content
  • Customer service focus and passion to ensureall customer interaction on social channels is best in class
