Easy Homemade Sweet Potato Crisps

Centra Olive Oil

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375°F and arrange a rack in the middle.
  2. Slice the sweet potato into very thin rounds, peel sweet potatoes and slice thinly, using either a mandolin or sharp knife. Know that chips that are too thick in parts won't crisp up all the way.
  3. In a large bowl, toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, paprika, and salt using your hands until thoroughly coated.
  4. Place sweet potato chips in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, then flip the chips over and bake for another 10 minutes.
  6. For the last ten minutes, watch the chips closely and pull off any chips that start to brown, until all of the chips are cooked.
