How does Beat the Queue app work?

It’s an app where you can order your freshly made Centra lunch and collect express in store – no queues. 

  1. Download the app on your Android smartphone or your iPhone
  2. Let us know your mobile number
  3. Choose a nearby store 
  4. Choose your lunch from our wide menu range. Add snacks, drinks and coffee
  5. Pick a time you’d like to collect your lunch
  6. Pay securely online and get €2 off your first order
  7. Collect your lunch from the dedicated Beat the Queue collection point in your selected store. 

Do all Centra stores offer the Beat the Queue service?

The Beat the Queue service is available in 10 stores across Ireland at the moment, see the list below. Stay tuned, we’ll be adding more stores over the coming months.

Do I need to sign up to use Beat the Queue?

All you need is your mobile number to sign up to use Beat the Queue.

How does €2 off my first order work?

Once you’ve downloaded the app and chosen what you’d like to order, at the checkout we’ll automatically take €2 off your basket.

Are there any additional charges for ordering online?

There’s no additional charge for ordering on Beat the Queue

Can I place my order over the phone instead?

Generally you can only place your order online or via the app, however in some cases the individual Centra store will offer phone ordering. Please check with your local Centra store

I want to pay by credit/debit card but I prefer to give my details over the phone, can I?

No. We can take payments on our app or website only.

What are your payment methods?

You can pay securely online or on our app using your debit or credit card.

Can I customise my order online?

Yes. If you wish to custom order a sandwich or salad, we’ll take you through the breads, fillings, dressings etc. You can customise your lunch from our wide menu range or you can choose a freshly made gourmet option.

How do I know my order was received?

Once you’ve ordered we’ll send a text to your phone confirming the time and collection location for your lunch order.

How do I make a change to my order?

Your collection store contact number is included in the order confirmation text. Simply contact the store and quote your order number.

How do I cancel my order?

Your collection store contact number is included in the order confirmation text. Simply, contact the store and quote your order number.

Can I place multiple orders?

Yes, you can order as many lunches, snacks & drinks online or on the app. Just give us a little longer to prepare a big order!
