My Centra General FAQs
I am having trouble registering/logging in, what’s wrong and who can help me?
If you are trying to register but you are getting this message (“EMAIL ADDRESS IS ALREADY BEING USED”), this means Centra already has your email address. All you need to do is:
- Go to the log-in screen and click “Forgot Password” to create a password for your account
- An email will be sent to you to create a new password
- Once you create a new password, log in as normal
- Your account is now created

Why do I need to register?
You must register your My Centra Card in order to receive coffee stamps/vouchers, discounted bundle deals, or avail of My Centra Prices.

How do I access my account details?
You can update your details by logging into your My Centra account online via centra.ie, via the My Centra App, or by referring to our Contact Us page.
Will self-scanners recognise my Centra app in all Centra stores?
Yes, you can use your My Centra app in any Centra store. The app will work at the till and on self-scanners.
My Centra App FAQs
What do I get in the app?
It’s a virtual card so you can access your card number, see your current coffee stamps (collector), and any FREE coffee vouchers on your account when you need them. You can also manage and edit your account details.
Does the app cost anything?
No, the app is free to download and free to use.
How do I log in to the app?
You can log in with your email and password. You may belong to one of the following three categories:
- A My Centra member who has never registered online with Centra
- A registered member who frequently uses the website
- A registered member who has forgotten their password
If you have never registered: register using your name, email, and create a password.
If you are already registered: log in using your email and password.
If you have forgotten your password: use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page.
I am having difficulties registering on the app. What can I do?
If you have already registered a My Centra account, you must use the same email address and password to log in to the app.
I am having difficulties logging in to the app. What can I do?
Please try resetting your password and logging in again with the new password. If this does not work, please refer to our Contact Us page.

If you are seeing the message (“EMAIL ADDRESS IS ALREADY BEING USED”), this means Centra already has your email address. Go to the log-in screen and click “Forgot Password”, then follow the email instructions to reset your password and log in as normal. Is WiFi required in-store for the app to work?
No, once you are logged in the information is cached and WiFi is not required.
How do I remove the app?
You can uninstall it like any other app. If you download it again, you will not need to register twice. You can log in with your registered email and password.
Is the My Centra App available in both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland?
The My Centra app can only be scanned across Centra stores in the Republic of Ireland and is not available in Northern Ireland.
Does the SuperValu app work in Centra?
No, the SuperValu Real Rewards app will not work in Centra stores.
Are there quotas on My Centra Prices?
No, there are no quotas on My Centra Prices. However, retailers may apply local limits at their discretion.
Activate & Scan FAQs
How do I activate a voucher onto my card?
Click the “Activate” button on the voucher. The barcode remains accessible after activation.
How do I know my voucher has been successfully activated?
A notification will appear and a green dot will show under the barcode.
How do I know how many vouchers I have activated?
The number in the green dot shows how many vouchers are active.
How can I use my activated voucher?
Scan your My Centra card on the app homepage and all activated vouchers will be redeemed.
What happens if I activate a voucher but don’t use it?
It will remain visible until it expires.
Can I deactivate vouchers?
Yes. Go to “My Card” and click the red “X” next to the voucher.
What if I change my mind and do not want to use a voucher?
The voucher will return to the voucher section and be available to activate again. The green dot will update automatically.
How do I know that my voucher is deactivated?
It will no longer appear in “My Card” and will return to the voucher section.
How do I find the 9-digit voucher code?
Click the voucher to view the barcode and 9-digit code. It is also available in the “My Card” section via the arrow on the voucher.
Can I use my vouchers by scanning my card with Google Wallet or Apple Wallet?
No, Google Wallet and Apple Wallet functionality is not available yet.
