Meath Garda Youth Awards

Centra and Meath Garda Síochána launched the annual 'Meath Garda Youth Awards'. The Awards celebrate outstanding young people between the ages of 13 and 21 years.

Centra and An Garda Síochána recognise that a lot of good work is being done by young people in every community in Meath and awards will be considered for nominated young people who by their presence make their communities a better place to live in.

How to Enter

  2. Fill in the application form and provide as much information as possible about the person you are nominating and why you think they deserve an award.
  3. Submit your nomination before 9th October 2019 to:

    Catherine Cronin, Juvenile Liaison Officer, Garda Station, Navan, Co Meath, 

    OR

    Ashling Connor, Juvenile Liaison Officer Garda Station, Ashbourne, Co Meath. 

Competition Rules

  1. Awards are confined to those young people who are aged between 13 and 21 years of age.
  2. Permanent residence of the young person must be in the Meath Garda Division.
  3. Awards are confined to individuals and groups of two or more young people.
  4. Judges decision is final.
  5. The judging panel will decide upon nominees in categories A,B,C to go forward to represent the Division at the National Garda Youth Awards. Details of theses nominees will be passed on to the Judging Panel of the Garda National Youth Awards.
  6. Any member of the public may nominate anyone whom they feel deserves an award.
  7. Nominations may be submitted by family members or relatives.
  8. Previous award winners are not eligible.
  9. Forms must be signed by a nominator.
