Delicious and quick to make, this soup and it's gloriously green colour will cheer up any mealtime.


Batch Crusty roll

2 rasher cooked and chopped into cubes

500 millilitre

250 g

1 piece medium, peeled and chopped into bite-sized chunks

Single Cream
1 piece for drizzling

Put the potato and chicken stock in a saucepan and simmer over a medium heat until the potato is soft. This should take about 5 minutes.

Add the peas and simmer for another 3 minutes.

Blend the soup in a hand-held blender or food processor. Serve with a drizzle of cream and the cooked bacon sprinkled on top. Enjoy with a crusty roll. Filling and delicious - what more could you want?
