Awards will be considered for nominated young people who by their presence make their communities a better place to live or have shown great determination in their own lives. Groups of two or more young people whose combined efforts have contributed positively to their communities will also be considered. All nominees and group members should be between the ages of 13 and 21 years. The winners will be announced at a celebratory function in the Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells, Co. Meathon Wednesday, November 11th 2015.

Speaking at the launch Catherine Cronin, Juvenile Liaison Officer, commented “We are continuously impressed by what the young people of Meath do on a daily basis.  The contributions they make to their local communities, the sacrifices they experience across a number of areas and the upbeat manner in which they go through life is inspiring and humbling.  We would encourage people who know a young person who is committed to making a difference to their community to put them forward.  We are delighted to partner with Meath Centra retailers in launching these awards.  Their support is invaluable”.
